☆楽曲に込めた想い☆

昨年夏のギリシャへの里帰り中に、港町「ピレウス」の教会に浮かぶ「月の光」を見上げた時、歌詞が浮かびました。
僕は日本で生まれ、アメリカとギリシャで育ち、3カ国で20回の引っ越しを、また兄と父を早くにアルコール依存症で亡くしました。
皆様もたくさんの「別れ」を経験し、これからも経験されていくと思いますが、この曲では、そんな「別れ」を悲しみや寂しさ、暗いだけの出来事で終わらせず、少しでも「光」をあてられたらと願った曲です。
そんな僕の想いを形にしてくれた編曲者のいたがき ゆうえいさんに、この場を借りて深く感謝いたします。
皆様がこれまでに別れた「大切な誰か」との楽しかった時を思い出してもらえたら嬉しいです。

THEME OF THIS SONG

During summer in 2018, while coming back to my hometown, Greece, when I looked up “THE BLURRED MOON” above the church of PIRAEUS port, this song came up to me.
I was born in Japan and grew up in the U.S.A. and Greece.
As a result, I have lived in over 20 towns around the world.
So, I have experienced a lot of parting.
Especially, it is special that I lost my brother and father because of alcohol dependency.

However, I think that
“Parting means not only sorrow or loneliness but also has good memories.”

So, I hope to make goodbyes shine for everyone listening to this song.
Also, I am deeply grateful to the arranger John I. Yuei.
